Best way to move Roborock S7 to new floor from charge station

I've only been using the S7 for a short time, and I'm curious how people are moving their S7 from the charge station to a different floor plan.

  • I've got the map switching aspect nailed down (using the app).
  • While the S7 is in the charge station, I reach around the sides from the top and put my fingers under the main brush height adjustable plate thingy (near the wheels). Most of the weight is put on my fingers there and I don't really apply too much pressure on the side/top housing.
  • As I'm transporting it, I feel the wheels turning slowly... I suspect it is checking for its position? Is there a way to stop this aspect? Could it be paused or something before I put it down?
  • When I put it down on the new floor, I go in the app and just start it up. It does a quick spin (positioning) and starts cleaning.

I'm mainly curious if there are different ways to approach this that is better than how I'm doing it now? For example, it does feel odd with the spinning wheels as I carry it around.
