Cannot log in to my account in the app/reset password

I have been trying for more than a week to reset the password for my account in the MI HOME APP but, as soon as I enter the verification code the app crashes. Tried about 15 times

Dear customer, sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience caused.

1. Could you tell us your device's SN?

Open the cover of device and take out the dustbin. You will see a bar code on device's bottom(not on dust bin). The SN is under bar code like R0201S82418800.

2.Tell us your phone's brand, model and system version.

3. Please tell us the app's version. See attached picture "Mi Home version"
