Purchased MAX V about a month ago. Prior to the MAX V I used the iRobot S9 and Shark IQ bots. Both worked well on our tiled floors but failed miserably on our three carpeted rooms. The carpet was medium height, very dense/plush and fine fiber. The color was a medium brown - not dark. Both bots. kept getting confused and it would take an average of three hours to complete each room and 1.5 hours to complete the tiled areas (total square ft. 2,200/50% tile). We went through three of those units over a period of four months. Also, it took 20 runs before a map came up.

The S6 MAX V mapped the total unit on its first attempt in 3.2 hours and has performed perfectly.

At this time I would only suggest a sensor or other mechanism to alert user when the dirt bin is full.
