S5Max Failed to Position after Firmware Update

After today's firmware update, S5Max fails to position itself. It moved back from the dock, turn around, and then stop as it failed to position. Tried a different map (same layout, but instead of the horizontal, it is the vertical layout). S5Max seems to be able to incorrectly position on the wrong map.. Basically it fails to clean as it has suddenly gone blind. It was working just fine the day before. This is extremely frustrating. Trying to restart all morning on all apps, phone, robot itself multiple times, with 0 success.

  • Hello,

    Which app do you use?

Do you create multiple maps for one floor? If yes, we suggest you to delete the rest one and keep one only.

Also, use wet cloth to clean the wall sensor and cliff sensors; turn over the robot and ensure that there is nothing stuck in the wheels.
