Receiving Error 14 on New S5 Max

Receiving Error 14 on New S5 Max

Hi,

I unpackaged my new S5 Max, plugged in the power station, and put the vacuum robot on it. The vacuum booted up and says, “Error 14. Battery error.” The user manual says this occurs when “The batter temperature is either too high or too low. Wait until it returns to normal.” My house temperature is at 78 degrees Fahrenheit and the robot has been sitting in a room at that temperature for a few hours now and still triggers that same error. Did I receive a defective robot?

Thanks.

  • Hi, we feel sorry for the inconvenience.

If the ambient environment is within normal range, the robot still report error 14, there may be something wrong with the robot. We suggest you contact support@roborock.com to get further assistance.
