S8 Pro Ultra dirt bin question

S8 Pro Ultra dirt bin question

I was reading reviews of the S8 Pro and ran across a comment that it doesn't empty the bin until the job has finished, even if the bin has filled up mid-job. Is this correct, and if so, will Roborock fix this? I have 6 dogs, and my iRobot S9 has to empty itself quite a few times before the job finishes. Is the S8 Pro can't do this it is subpar to that robot. Here is the review in question: https://www.zdnet.com/home-and-office/kitchen-household/roborock-s8-pro-ultra-review/

  • The S8 Pro Ultra will empty dustbin when cleaning is completed. In your case, we suggest you set up a routine with several cleaning tasks. After robot finishes each task, it will return to the dock and empty the dustbin.

    @RR_Support:

    This is good to know! So if I create a routine where each step is to vacuum a single room and there are multiple steps it will return to empty after each step. Perfect! I can build routines to ensure the robot cleans itself before going to the next room.
