Roborock App can't connect Roborock S6

Hi all,

Roborock S6 - black edition

iPhone XS - installing device

The Roborock App fails on the very last step: "Device is connecting to the network" - all locations permissions are allowed, WiFi network is 2GHZ, password and WiFi name doesn't contain special characters AND the interesting part is that I can see the Roborock S6 connected to the WiFi router by checking the clients list??? Any idea how to proceed?

Primary DNS is 8.8.8.8

  • Hello,

    Thanks for the info.

    What is the current wifi led indicator when you see it on the client list page?

    Try to power cycle the robot and the main router both.

    Also, you can switch to Mi Home app to have a try.

    @RR_Support:

    WiFi led indicator was blinking. By the way additional details is that the region is within Europe.

    Mi Home app connected successfully but still wondered what failed with Roborock app?

    @MileAway0:

    Try to uninstall and reinstall the Roborock app. Also, you can reboot the robot and router both.
