After using my S5 Max for a month and with previous experience with Neato cleaners, I have a few suggestions:

1) Better wall management. As soon as the S5 Max hits a wall, it moves from the wall and comes back 30cm further and missing the area in between. Even on straight walls. Please move more in a straight line and maximize the covered area.

2) Better corner management. As soon as the S5 Max gets around the corner, it goes with a big radius and therefore misses the corner itself. The Neato made the turn, went backwards for 30cm and forward again, and so covering the whole corner.

3) When in mopping mode, consider moving opposite directions or cross directions when a room or zone is mopped multiple times.

4) When in mopping mode, consider to start at the far end of the room/rooms and come back in the direction of the station. Now it happens quite some times that all is mopped and next the S5Max need to go right across the room to come back.
