Roborock is great but one big feature that’s missing for me is the ability to connect roborock to other applications so that I can initiate a room cleaning from another app.
It is great that google assistant is supported but it would be even greater if we, as consumers, could access and send commands directly to the API using an internal token over the home network.
There’s a huge project that’s growing rapidly called “home assistant” and I’m sure the entire community would be eager to support roborock even more if this feature would be allowed.
Currently I have to use Mi Home to connect roborock to home assistant (because Mi Home has the ability to retrieve the token) but Mi Home doesn’t support google assistantt.
I agree with you. The ability to extract the token from the Roborock App and be able to integrate with Home Assistant would be great.
@RR_Discussion and @RR_Support Why is it possible with Mi Home and not with Roborock App?
Hi, thanks for your great idea! We're trying our best to provide our users with more awesome functions, please stay tuned and we'll update if this is news about it.
It's been over a year, what would it require to get this access?
please do that. I would open a broad new customer base and will put you ahead of competitors.

Please provide a way to show the device specific API tokens in the Roborock app. That is all you need to do. It does not matter if we need to factory reset the device to see the token only once during setup. We are willing to make that compromise.
