Hope this finds you well. My Roborock S5 has suddenly stopped working. I recieved a notification for firmware update few days ago but during installation it failed for some unknown reason. Since than my robot is not working properly; kept saying "an internal error occured". Few days ago, I have tried to factory reset it (language changed to Chinese since) and connect to Mi Home app. But it kept saying "connection timed out". I tried different router, different types of phones but no luck. Note that during this error with Mi Home Connectivity; the robot was not even working with manually pressing "spot cleaning button".
Since today there is RED blinking light on the power button. When I try to reset it; the red light brightens (probably reset is unseccessful; I can't say as it is in chinese).
I tried searching for solution over the internet but could not find a similar situation. I can't ship it to china and the local dealer is not able to support as this was brought via Aliexpress. Please help.

Note: the wifi SSID of "Roborock-vacuum-S5_miap1284" is always broadcasting. This only used to broadcast during the network setup through Mi App via iphone.

Thanks for reaching out.
1. If there're some stains or rust on the charging contacts on the dock or underneath of the robot, please use a piece of cloth moistened with alcohol solution or an eraser to remove them. See attached picture "charging contact".
2. If you have wiped charging contacts, could you send us pictures to show them?
3. Please check if the dock charger is working or not.
The indicator light on top of the dock should be solid on without the robot and off with the robot placed on it. See attached picture.
Kindly double confirm if the cable and the slot of the dock are well connected.
Please push the cable head into the slot at bottom of the dock very hard. See the video below.
