Disable Cliff Sensor

Disable Cliff Sensor

Is there a way to disable cliff sensors? Mine seems to have been damaged and the robot no longer functions and I repeatedly get the Cliff Sensor error message. I do not need cliff sensor functionality. I could not find replacement parts for the S7 cliff sensors anywhere. Will the robot function if the cliff sensors are removed entirely?

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. • Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If the robot gives the cliff sensor message, there may be something wrong with the robot, and it will need to be repaired. Disabling cliff sensors or removing the cliff sensors won't make the robot function.

Opening up the robot by yourself may void the warranty. We don't suggest you try and replace the cliff sensors by yourself. We suggest you try and contact support@roborock.com to ask about how to proceed with the warranty service.
