Robock S4 Internal Error

Robock S4 Internal Error

My Roborock S4 continues giving me Internal Error #108. I have restarted the cleaner many times but the problem persist. Also the cleaner keeps saying to "check the filter as it might be wet or blocked. Fan speed has been temporarily lowered. It will be automatically restore after is cleaned". I replaced the filter by a new one and the same message continues. I have also deleted the map to see if that will help but both errors (internal error #108 & wet filter) remain. The cleaner will not operate for more than 6 min before prompting for error #108. Please advise any additional steps to fix this issue. Thanks.

  • Hi, thanks for reaching out.

    If the internal error is related to the short or open circuit of the wheel or ODO error, like error 105, 106, 107, 108 or 116,

    please try the method below:

    1. Put the device on the ground, push it aggressively forward&backward for around 10 sec (like using an eraser). You can push it with some force like in the video below:

    https://youtu.be/MiBkw_lcTF8

    2. When you feel there's less resistance in the wheels, start cleaning again to see if it works.

    Notice:

    Manually pushing the device would cause an overheat of the motor. If the resistance is still high after erasing the wheel for 10 seconds, please wait for a while until the motor cools down, and then try it again.

    Best regards.

    @Fian:

    Hello, thanks reaching out.

    The issue is usually a hardware issue rather than software. If the above mentioned troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, there may be something wrong with the wheel. We suggest you get in touch with our support team at support@roborock.com to get further assistance.
