All,
My wife and I are building a custom home and we are interested purchasing a robot vacuum, I was originally looking at a Roomba, but have recently discovered the Roborock (S7 MaxV Ultra) and I'm leaning your direction. The question I has is we are planning to store the docking station in our mudroom and currently have plans to leave an opening in wall trim 5"H x 18"W for the robot to enter/exit even if the room door is shut. Will the Roborock recognize this opening and enter/exit as we wish? Do I need to adjust the size of wall opening so it will fit?
Thanks,
Bryan

Did you ever get this figured out or build the garage? I would like to do the same thing during a remodel project.
Garage. It is the place where everything that does not fit finds a place; As long as you are close to the house, you can hide your vacuum in the garage. Just be sure to give it its own designated space or it will get lost in the clutter. See my web here: https://synchron-demolition.com/asbestos-removal/
