Roborock S7 MaxV - Error 4

Roborock S7 MaxV - Error 4

Hello,

my Roborock S7 MaxV has problems with one of the Cliff sensor. When I start the robot the bad "Error 4 - Cliff Sensor" is coming up and the robot won't clean. Through the BIT-mode I found out, that the Left Rear Cliff sensor has some kind of problems and is always activate. I changed the left cliff sensor with an original replacement part - but that was not the solution.... The left Rear Cliff Sensor still has problems. The other sensor are working fine.

I have checked whether the sensor emits infrared light - and yes, it does.

When I hold a piece of paper about 0,5 cm below the sensor, the sensor is working correctly (tested in BIT mode).

What could cause the problem and how to solve that? Is there some way of calibration tool for the sensor?

Please help me. The problem drives me crazy....

Thank you,

Mark
