I have acquired a Roborock E4 and have been doing setup. I noted that the app that installed was the Xiaomi app. I wanted to switch from metric to imperial measurements and read that this option is only available on the Roborock app. The challenge is that it looks like the Roborock app is only currently compatible with the S series of units...

Is there any plan to allow the Roborock app to work with the E series vacuums or am I out of luck in my hope to switch to square feet instead of squared meters?

It is not decided by the app, instead, it is up to the model itself. For example, this option is available for S6 on both Mi Home app and Roborock app.
